Tonight's beer: Jailbreak Infinite
Lots of caramel, with toast and bread around the edges. Grassy-floral bitterness arises into the middle, comes to the front as the beer wraps up. Hints of citrus and pine, maybe a glimmer of dried fruits. Finishes nicely dry.
Medium-bodied, lightly (but adequately carbonated). A little bready-chewy, some stickiness into the finish. Kinda gently cleansing, eventually drying and refreshing.
A very nice amber ale, more in the lines of nicely malty and well-balanced than some (also very tasty) beers that are more like slightly juicier IPAs. Reasonably intense and nicely complex, superbly drinkable. A very food-friendly beer, from the most-local brewer to me that I know of.
