Tonight's beer: 21st Amendment Fireside Chat
Chocolate, dark bread, bing cherries, hints of spice (ginger, maybe nutmeg). Distant coffee, toffee, nuts, earth, grass. Overal a lot like a good and *very* complex cherry soda.
Bready, just on the thick side of medium-bodied, with decently lively carbonation. A hint of syrupy-stickiness, and of boozy warmth. Gently-drying and impressively satisfying.
A vey yummy Winter Warmer, cherry cola like and bready/nutty. Plkenty flavorful and complex; intense and balanced. Big-ish and warming, with subtleties that call for close attention. Fruity and spicy. A winner from 21st Amendment, probably something I'll end up buying every Xmas season. Impressive.
