Tonight's beer: Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock

| Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock |
Chocolate and caramel on top of dark toasted bread. Some coffee presence. Earthy-grassy bitterness in background. Hints of nuts and/or toffee.
Mouthfeel is bready, chewy, bordering on viscous. Hints of syrupy stickiness. Almost round on the palate. Decently carbonated.
Nicely drinkable chocolate-spiked dark heavy lager. Plenty of flavor, decent complexity. Chocolate is well-integrated into the rest of the beer. Suitably festive for a winter/holiday mixed 12-pack. Yummy,
