Tonight's beer: Samuel Adams Winter Lager
Toasty-caramelly dark bread on top. Bright and floral spicy bitterness, with hints of grass and just a little pine, providing something like balance.
Mouthfeel is on the light side of bready, with decent carbonation. A little syrupy-bready stickiness anc chewiness, but finishes nicely clean and refreshing.
A nicely drinkable seasonal offering from Samuel Adams. Pleasantly warming and satisfying. Brightly flavorful, complex and intense. Nicely balanced and integrated. A good addition to the Winter Classics 12-pack.
