Tonight's beer: Full Sail Wreck the Halls
Citrus and pine front, top, and center, with grassy-floral-spicy undertones. Some bready/toasty-caramel sweetness present, but the beer isn't anywhere near balanced. Pleasant; just not balanced.
Resinous-sticky, medium body with decent carbonation. Looong finish, very drying.
Nicely drinkable American IPA. Not so much complex as intense; not so much balanced as integrated (it really does hold together nicely). And, it has an awesome name.
