Tonight's Beer: Magic Hat Vinyl
Piny-grassy-floral bitterness sitting on caramel/toasty/bready sweetness. Hints of toffee in the far background. Does dry out, mostly, on the finish.
Kinda thin on the palate, highly carbonated. Maybe a little on the astringent side, but very refreshing. A gentle touch of bready stickiness, softly drying on the finish.
A nicely drinkable amber lager. Not tons of complexity here, or overpowering assertiveness, but clean and well-balanced. Yummy, if it's what you're in the mood for. Tonight, it was.
