Piny-citrussy bitterness smacks my tongue to the back of my throat, with orange, grapefruit, and other tropical fruits—pineapples, definitely, probably others—blending in; flowers and grass in the interstices. Bready/lightly-toasted/caramel sweetness, strong hints of juicy fruits, struggling to provide something in the neighborhood of balance (and almost succeeding). Dim hints of honey and treacle. Dries out slowly, but pretty thoroughly.

Medium-bodied, and distinctly juicy/pulpy, with decent prickly carbonation. Some syrupy-resinous stickiness, on the long, drying, scrubbing, refreshing finish. Just a touch of boozy heat.

Really, a superb Double IPA that's providing the dose of hoppy bitterness I've been jonesing for since before the weekend. Marvelously well-balanced, amazingly intense and complex and integrated, devastatingly drinkable—slurpable, even, with barely a trace of the alcohol in it. Egad, it's good.
