Tonight's beverage: B. Nektar Zombie Killer
Cherries on top of apples, very juicy up front, then gradually drying out some. Pleasantly tart, gently puckering. Maybe some hints of something honey-like, off in the distance.
Pretty light-bodied, gently-carbonated, juicy. Some slight stickiness on the finish. A little puckering tartness, quenching and very refreshing.
Impressive, I guess. I don't know the style/s at play, here, so I'm no near qualified to judge this on that kind of level. It is a refreshing and very refreshing beverage, and a decently-chosen change of pace (I think) after the highly beer-focused day I had yesterday (not that I'm complaining—yesterday was awesome). I'm now curious (or more curious) about meads, ciders, etc., especially as more summer-ish beverages. Yummy, regardless.
