Green Flash Rayon Vert and Mexican-esque Alfredo

Yeah. We took a recipe we had for sun-dried tomato alfredo, halved it, and used a homemade spice rub that's roughly two parts chili powder and one part pasta blend instead of the pesto in the recipe. +Sara Rabe had acquired some smoked turkey chops, and we cut them up for the meat, and we browned some bacon before throwing in the turkey, then an onion, some garlic, and a couple Anaheim peppers. We had some crema sitting around that we used for the sauce, and we threw in some shredded cheese and sprinkled some over the top..

Rayon Vert turned out to work really well with the food, dry and clean enough to get out of the way of the food, while leaving the palate perpetually refreshed.
