Beer + Food!
So, Sara and I have a coq au vin recipe that we've done a couple times, and it's a good one. A while back, we tried it with beer, and it worked even better, I think. Tonight, we revisited that coq au biere, with the same beer as when we did it before: Chimay Red (or Premiere). Used the same beer in the dish. All kinds of good things going on here.
Someday, we'll get around to trying this with a doppelbock, or a Scotch Ale, or something.
