Tonight's beverage: Original Sin Cherry Tree
A nice balance between cherries and apples, sweet and tart. Dries out some through the finish, but never quite gets all the way there.
Light-bodied, with fine spritzy carbonation; juicy, with tartness approaching puckering. Some syrupy stickiness but finishes mostly clean and very refreshing.
A very drinkable hard cider, nicely accented with cherries. Not as complex as most good beers, but plenty intense, niftily balanced and integrated. Marvelous as a change of pace, if nothing else. Definitely glad I picked this up.
