Anderson Valley Fall Hornin'

Tonight's beer: Anderson Valley Fall Hornin'

Anderson Valley Fall Hornin'

Caramel and toast and pumpkins, healthily sprinkled with baking spiced—ginger, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon. Earthy-grassy bitterness arises in the background, alongside some sprinkles of maple and molasses. Gradually dries out pretty well.

Medium-bodied, nicely carbonated. Kinda bready-chewy and sticky. Softly drying, working its way in the direction of refreshing.

A very nice pumpkin beer, generously and appropriately spiced. Intense and complex, nicely integrated if pretty sweet. Marvelously drinkable and delicious. I haven't had a bad beer from Anderson Valley, and I look forward to finding this beer again next year. Yum!
