Tonight's beer: Tröegs Nugget Nectar
Lots of bitterness—citrus (orange, lime, grapefruit) woven with pine, flowers, and grass. Background flickers of musk and spice. Caramel and toast and bread kinda in the background, but adequate for something between counterpoint and balance.
Medium-bodied, decently carbonated. A little stickiness, more resinous/syrupy than bready. Gently but thoroughly drying, impressively cleansing and refreshing.
Yup. Still delicious. Also complex, balanced, intense, integrated, drinkable. One of my favorite beers, period.
