Tonight's beer: Lost Rhino Rhino Chasers
Grassy-floral bitterness, with a sulfurous swath and grace notes of earth; pale bread right alongside, with flickers of caramel and maybe toast. Transitions quickly to somewhere on the Saharan side of dry.
On the light-bodied side, with decent carbonation. Drying, cleansing, scrubbing. A little bready stickiness but mostly clean around the finish.
A superb Pilsner, straightforward and balanced. Plenty of flavor for 5.6% ABV. Impressively drinkable. A spit-on beer from a local-ish brewery for me, one well worth a visit.
