Tonight's beer: Lost Rhino Rhino Chasers
Pale-bready sweetness with grace-notes of caramel and toast; abutting grassy-floral bitterness and possibilities of citrus (mainly grapefruit) and pine. Sulfur flashes past, briefly; something vaguely herbal lingers on the periphery. It's never all that sweet, but it dries out completely and swiftly.
Light-bodied, highly-carbonated. Briskly drying and refreshing; clean, cleansing, scrubbing. Maybe a little bready around the middle.
An extraordinarily drinkable Pilsner. Straightforward and direct, but plenty intense. Maybe some subtleties to pay attention to. Balanced and superbly well-integrated. I don't think this brewery has distribution where I am, but it's just a minor trip to the brewery (and well worth it).
