Tonight's beer: Lost Rhino Rhino'fest
Nuts and toffee smeared lightly on caramel-toasty bread; grassy-floral bitterness right behind. Maybe some spice, some dried fruit in the distance. Solidly sweet to start, slowly evolves most of the way to dry.
A little thick and bready, chewy, highly carbonated and scrubbing. Cleansing and drying, finishes mostly clean with a little stickiness around the end.
A very tasty Oktoberfest/Märzen-style lager, drinkable in whatever quantity one has available (I suspect). Intense and relatively complex, nicely balanced. Entirely as the brewers intended. Lost Rhino definitely know their way around sessionable beers. Good stuff.
