Beer and food!
Dinner ran late tonight, a chicken fricassee made smoky with ham and lightly briny-fruity with capers and raisins and white wine vinegar. It played well with the Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Sumpin', as the wheaty tartness merged and melded with the vinegar and the potent bitterness played a constructively-interfering counterpoint with the little bit of red pepper in the fricassee (and helped to balance the meal overall and refresh the palate between spoonfuls). Delicious, and worth the wait.
As a bonus, we have lunches for most of next week set aside.
