Tonight's beer: Firestone Walker Pivo
There's a lot of grassy bitterness here, with threads of flowers and lemons (but basically no other citrus). Pale bread is back a bit, a structural counterpoint. The beer drills directly to very dry, unable to wait for the finish.
Pretty light-bodied, decently carbonated. Sharply drying and immensely refreshing; clean and cleansing and almost scrubbing.
A delicious Pilsner, with just enough lemon character to make it seem more American than European. Plenty intense; straightforward and direct, not particularly complex. Precisely balanced and nicely drinkable.
