Bananas and cloves, as one might expect from a hefeweizen. Pale-bready sweetness lurks behind a thin veil of floral-grassy bitterness. Hints of smoke and bubblegum around the edges. Slides easily if not instantly to mostly dry, with some soft tartness emerging around the end.

Pretty light-bodied, with plenty of acidic prickle but less carbonation than I expect from the style; pretty smooth, but not as silken as, say, Weihenstephaner's hefeweizen. Gently drying and immensely refreshing.

A pretty tasty hefeweizen, good enough if you like the style but not worth stressing out to get some. Reasonably intense and complex, maybe a little disjointed but pretty well-balanced. Nicely drinkable on a warm-ish evening.
