Tonight's beer: Wiseacre Ananda
Lots of bitterness to start: citrus (mostly grapefruit and lime), pine, flowers, grass. Some bready-caramel sweetness arises quickly, hangs around a long moment, faces to nicely dry. Hints of dried fruit and pepper around the edges.
Medium-bodied, well-carbonated, a little abrasive. Some resinous stickiness, eventually cleansing and scrubbing, drying and immensely refreshing.
This is a plenty tasty IPA, not so big you can't have a couple if you want (especially if there's food). Nicely balanced and integrated, complex and intense. Drinkable as hell—slurpable, really.
