Uinta (Crooked Line) Jacked Be Nimble

Chocolate and toast wrapped around pumpkin and baking spices (nutmeg, cloves, allspice, cardamom, cinnamon); caramel and molasses and vanilla threaded and woven in densely. Earthy-peaty-grassy bitterness emerges through the middle, lasts through the long, slowly-drying finish.

Thick and chewy, a little soft, decently carbonated. Smeary syrupy stickiness lasts a long, long time. Some very subdued boozy warmth, nothing like what I'd expect for 11% ABV. Eventually, slowly drying and surprisingly clean.

A delicious big black pumpkin beer. Staggeringlyh intense and jaw-droppingly complex, wonderfully well-integrated (there's a lot of bourbon character, but it fits in nicely) and something an awful lot like balanced, considering; drinkable as hell, in a Big Sipping Beer way. At least as good as Oaked Jack, just different. I'm glad I snagged this, this year.
