Tonight's beer: Wild Wolf Blonde Hunny
Opens with a flash of coriander (and maybe some other spices), backed by a flicker of floral-grassy bitterness. Pale dried fruits on top of pale bread through the middle, then the beer transitions quickly to quite dry. Maybe a touch of honey character around the edges.
Medium-bodied, carbonation kinda sparse but it'll do. Some surprising bready chewiness and syrupy stickiness. Slowly, a bit drying. Tending toward refreshing, falls a little short (huh).
A pretty tasty Belgian-style beer, nothing world-shaking but pleasant enough. Pretty intense, nicely complex; holds together nicely, well-balanced. Pretty drinkable for on a warmish summer evening.
