Tonight's beer:
Opens with lots of fruit: pulpy citrus (mostly orange, threads of lime and grapefruit) alongside dried/candied pears and apples and white grapes. Pine, grass, flowers, musk back a bit. Hints of spice in the distance. Bready sweetness with hints of crackers and biscuits makes a brief appearance toward the end, before the beer veers sharply to vanishingly dry.
Very light-bodied, with lots of carbonation. scrubbing and cleansing, with just a trace of resinous stickiness. Some juicy pulpiness. Quickly drying and massively refreshing.
A truly delicious beer, from a brewery I like lots and should definitely drink more of. Tons of flavor—intense as hell and bogglingly complex; gloriously well-integrated and a lot like balanced. Crazily drinkable. Awesomely beer with a neat little pun in the name.
