Tonight's beer:
Opens with bright, kinda tart/kinda sweet mostly-lemony citrus; hints of flowers and grass woven in. Pale bread in the background, with peppery touches around the edges. Finishes by sliding trough gently tart to eventually kinda dry.
Very light-bodied, with carbonation a little light but adequate. Hints of soft pucker, massively refreshing. Drying, cleansing, scrubbing.
A very impressive take on the style, from a brewery I'd never seen on the shelves before a couple weeks ago. Intense and complex for a witbier, nicely integrated and a lot like balanced. Gloriously drinkable. Clearly more of a warm-weather beer, but nice even around mid-autumn.
