Tonight's beer:
Opens brightly fruity: citrussy bitterness alongside pale-fruity sweetness (apples, pears, white grapes). Grassy-floral-piny impressions blast through, then some bready sweetness edged with baking spice. Slides easily to dry into and beyond a quick and direct finish.
Just on the light side of medium-bodied, with lots of carbonation. Some soft stickiness, then scrubbing and drying and immensely refreshing.
A truly delicious beer, from a brewery I specifically look for when I'm in Georgia. Intense, complex as hell, nicely balanced and superbly well-integrated. Drinkable as hell, supple and graceful. Really excellent stuff.
