4 Hands Incarnation

Tonight's beer:

4 Hands Incarnation

Opens imposingly bitter: musky-floral tropical fruits up front, backed by melons and citrus, pine and grass. Pale bread in the background, with honey and/or caramel.  Maybe something biscuity. Bitterness reasserts itself through the finish as the beer caroms to austerely dry.

Medium-bodied, with lots of carbonation. Scrubbing and eventually cleansing. Wraps up drying and surprisingly refreshing. Juicy and pulpy around the perimeter.

A delicious IPA, obviously spiked with Mosaic hops. Intense as hell and remarkably complex (Mosaic will do that), impressively balanced-ish, superbly well-integrated. Drinkable as hell. I think these folks just started distributing around here, or maybe I didn't notice for a while. Either way, happy to see them.
