Tonight's beer:
Lots of orange up front, with threads of lime and grapefruit. Bit spatters of pine and grass and flowers, some bright spice and some pepper. Pale bread lurks around the middle, edged with toast, drizzled with honey and caramel. Dries out thoroughly through a quick and juicy finish.
A little lighter than medium-bodied, with lots of carbonation, potently drying and massively refreshing; a few strands of resinous stickiness, but mostly pulpy-scrubbing and cleansing.
Seriously impressive. We had this while we were out and about a while ago, and liked it so much we bought some to have at home. I really like white IPAs, and this is a superb one—intense as hell and crazily complex, precisely poised and balanced, wonderfully well-integrate and gloriously drinkable.
